The Chip Node is a special node that represents the RoboPad itself. In its default configuration, the Chip Node has two input ports - M1 and M2 that drive the Built-in H-Bridge that drives the M1 and M2 outputs on the physical RoboPad, and two output ports - M1 armed and M2 armed, that emit signals once M1 and M2 are armed, as explained under the Built-in H-Bridge Motor Actuator IO Unit.

The input and output ports of the Chip Node are configured on the IO Configuration Editor Page. It is advised that before you start to change the IO configuration of the RoboPad, you first get to grips with the default IO Configuration.

The Chip Node was introduced in firmware version 2.1 along with all basic nodes.
